Supply Mechanics
Plazm manages its token supply through two complementary methods:
Primary Supply (Creating): When users Create Plazm, they generate new Plazm tokens upfront. These tokens are guaranteed to be received as the user’s created amount at the end of their chosen period (1–77 days). In other words, whatever amount of Plazm you create, you will get at least that amount back later, no matter what. This primary creation mechanism ensures you retain value even if the Plazm Pool’s rewards become diluted by many participants, thereby boosting profitability of the creation feature.
Secondary Supply (Plazm Pool): A fixed number of Plazm tokens is distributed daily to all active creators and stakers as rewards, based on their share counts. This daily token emission from the pool decreases by 0.08% every single day forever, which gradually tapers off the rate of new supply. (For example, with that tiny daily reduction, the system would emit less than 125 million tokens in total over the first 20 years.) This controlled emission makes Plazm deflationary over the long term, since the creation burns and other burns can outpace the slowing supply.
